J. DAVID RAUCH
Dave Rauch is the Founder and President of ProTec Building Services (ProTec). He is the company’s primary change agent; he ensures that the company grows in the right direction, at the correct pace, without ever compromising work quality. Each year he spearheads ProTec’s (TQM) “quality” process. Dave maintains a consistent presence within the company and strives to improve everything that ProTec does, especially, exceeding client expectations. In the early 1990’s he co-invented the original HOA Maintenance & Operations Manual. After he founded ProTec in 1996, he created the monthly Building Maintenance Program, specific to each community.
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
With over 20 years’ experience in construction, construction management and janitorial, Andy knows what it takes to repair and maintain homes and communities and make happy clients. Not only will Andy provide unparalleled customer service for all ProTec’s work but he will ensure that all jobs and service exceed client expectations. Andy is happy to address any of your most vexing issues or problems and would also be happy to walk your community, detailing what maintenance and repairs are needed to keep your property values increasing. Andy oversees all ProTec’s 18 Divisions and 7 offices.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Candy Allen has over two decades of experience in accounting and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the ProTec executive team. Candy also has extensive HR, office management and organizational skills derived from her years of experience in the service industry. What truly sets Candy apart from her peers is her energy and zeal to get the job done correctly and quickly. She’ll explain that her success comes from devoting herself to creating a team environment in which the company can accurately track and maintain their various business and accounting systems. Teamwork, honesty and hard work are all core elements of Candy’s work ethic.
Mark oversees 7 regional construction divisions collectively performing thousands of repairs and projects on over a 1000 HOA’s annually. He holds many accreditations such as being a certified applicator in Excellent Coatings (Waterproof Coatings), SIKA Products (Sealants), PROTECTO Wrap (Waterproof Membranes) and Superkrete (Overlay Concrete Systems) as well as being a licensed California General Contractor. In his 15 years at ProTec, Mark has encountered just about every condition and defect possible. His vast knowledge of construction materials supports his estimating skills; he’s also expert at problem solving and locating the source of building problems.
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Laura brings years of knowledge and experience in HR and Organizational Development from a variety of industries; ranging from property management, non-profit, government, public utility, and hospitality. She earned a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in Psychology from San Diego State University. Laura enjoys an employee focused and hands-on approach to HR and believes employees are a company’s most valuable resource. An organization is successful when employees are in the right job, involved, committed, and work together toward shared goals. Laura is conscientious, works hard, and believes when respect is earned, trust is gained.
